Passage of healthcare gives Obama a bump in the polls

"Those who [advocate] reformation of institutions pari passu with the progress of science [maintain] that no definite limits [can] be assigned to that progress. The enemies of reform, on the other hand, [deny] improvement and [advocate] steady adherence to the principles, practices and institutions of our fathers, which they [represent] as the consummation of wisdom and acme of excellence, beyond which the human mind could never advance." --Thomas Jefferson to John Adams, 1813. ME 13:254

Yeah, who saw this coming? A new poll has Obama in favorable territory again. The Republican Party, Tea Baggers, and special interests drug a conservative influenced reform through the mud for an entire year. Of course people were upset with the way Obama was handling the situation, but to his credit he tried to reach a bi-partisan consensus.

PRESIDENT OBAMA

FAVORABLE 56 (53)

UNFAVORABLE 39 (41)

DON'T KNOW 5 (6)

NET CHANGE 5

But you won't hear that out of the right side of the isle, they're too busy issuing death threats, breaking windows and talking about Marxist Revolution.
